Dear comrades in Greece,
We would like to express our deepest solidarity with you and your struggle for an unconditioned legalization of your current status and moreover for equal rights for all.
We, too, are fed up with a capitalist logic which means higher salaries, more rights, a passport and so called freedom of movement for some, while others have to fight against racist laws, low wages, illegalization, deportation centers and many other obstacles.
Your hunger strike is taking place in Thessaloniki and Athens but your demands are global. The German government is playing a major role within the European Union?s restrictive policy against refugees and migrants. In Germany, too, the division between ?profitable? and ?unprofitable? human beings is being promoted in order to divide society. There are political debates around so-called integration, while at the same time institutionalized governmental racism is systematically excluding more and more people from society. We don?t accept any longer that people are divided into ?useful? and ?useless? human beings on the basis of a capitalist logic of exploitation!
We are sending you a lot of power and courage for the continuation of your struggle!
