People of knowledge, research and intellectual creation, will be present tomorrow at 12 noon – on the 29th day of the hunger strike – at the Hypatia building in order to actively and publicly testify to their solidarity with the 300 immigrants on hunger strike.
As of now, more than 30 associations of research faculty in higher education and scholars of international repute support the struggle of the 300 immigrant workers, and express abhorrence before a system and consolidated mechanism of undeclared labor that denies residential permits to working immigrants calling them ‘illegal’.
However, *no life is illegal*, no propaganda and no slander against a just struggle is more powerful than the knowledge of reality – thus tomorrow at 12 noon, 25 university professors will give a press conference in the Hypatia building.
